AMM warehouse/bin issue

We do have AMM, and I entered warehouses and bins in the in/out and
can now send the material to the queue.
Thanks

When trying to move a job material to the material queue in "Get
Request", I keep getting a message that the To warehouse and the To bin
cannot be blank. Can anyone tell me what this means and how I fix it?
This is a fun little bug.

Assuming you don't have AMM (as we don't) and you're getting this
message, here's the fix:

1. Go into the resource group entry for the related resource that
you're trying to issue against and go to the detail tab.

2. There are 3 warehouse fields, In/Out/Backflush. Click in each
field, even if they're empty or gray.

3. Make some other change (add a character to the description for
instance)

4. Click Save

5. Repeat for each resource under the resource group (clicking the
fields and changing the description), hitting save on each resource

Basically you're forcing the system to update the warehouses by making
some change and clicking into the others.

When trying to move a job material to the material queue in "Get
Request", I keep getting a message that the To warehouse and the To bin
cannot be blank. Can anyone tell me what this means and how I fix it?

[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
Check out what you have setup in the Resource Group (Resource)
Maintenance. Each Resource Group and Resource has it's own Input
Whse/Bin and Output Whse/Bin.

Note: A bug still remains that it does not pick up the Input Resource
Whse/Bin from where the NEXT OPR is scheduled to run. It still pulls
from the RG (dumb logic that still remains from 8.0).

A couple places where the moves can be tracked are as follows:
Job Tracker - Part Location
Part Tracker - Part Location (if not moving to next opr, you can view
WIP in the Part Location of the Finished Good Part).

Hope this helps.

Thank you...worked like a charm!
