Anyone knows and can help on the following application error? Thanks.
Need some more context. Loading Epicor? Loading a screen? performing an action?
Here is another screenshot from the user.
Happens every time when the user log in to Epicor.
just based on the add favorite tiles, I would purge their favorites. it is possible that an special character was set in a title that was not trapped and you might be able to edit it, but fastest way to check would be to kill of the last added tiles.
Just delete C:\ProgramData\Epicor folder
and try again;/
Thanks Jose. Is it safe to delete the whole Epicor folder?
in C:\ProgramData
Sure (at the workstation NOT the server)
Thank you, Greg.
We got this error when we had a printer with an apostrophe in the name of one of the printers.
Jose,
Just confirm that I need to delete the Epicor folder under C:\ProgramData
Also only a local admin has the permission to delete it right?
Thanks.
Hi Greg, how to kill the added tiles? Thanks.
I would normally use personalization purge and sort by last updated in list mode and purge from the date the issue started till today.
Not knowing if Tiles are saved the same I did a quick search on EpiCare and found a somewhat dated kb on this from Epicor that describes manually removing records via sql. I would log a case before going there.
