And I agree now, they weren’t duped by AI. They took shortcuts. At least, they later admitted it. It’s definitely not a good look at Ars Technica. I would almost prefer they had been duped rather than lazy.
ehhh I don’t want to slander anyone but I dunno if duped is the right word. More like cutting corners. They have a policy that AI generated content isn’t allowed and the author was using AI tools and ‘accidentally’ included AI generated content.
