Another RB Calculation

Wendy,

Set up a new aggregate for the Group total. Make it a count
aggregate, reset the count for whatever group, or no reset for
entire report, and then under advanced, accumulate on whatever
group level you are looking to count. Good luck.

trying to total the number of Packing Slips I have listed in my
SHIPHEAD.PACKNUM GROUP HEADER BAND LINE. I would like to total it in my
SUMMARY section. I have come to realize that RECORD-NUM() in the calculated
field area only totals in a RECORD BAND LINE. Any suggestions?

Alright everyone..........bear with me! I've been asked in the past 4 months to write a lot of very technical RB reports so I'm having to ask questions from the group!!

Is it possible to total the RECORDS from a GROUP HEADER BAND LINE? I'm trying to total the number of Packing Slips I have listed in my SHIPHEAD.PACKNUM GROUP HEADER BAND LINE. I would like to total it in my SUMMARY section. I have come to realize that RECORD-NUM() in the calculated field area only totals in a RECORD BAND LINE. Any suggestions?
