We also seeing interest from some customers using SAP’s Ariba system and wondering if others are avoiding the EDI path and using cXML.
Or any non-EDI sources like Excel, etc.
Not exactly the same, but similar. Back when I was working for an aerospace company, we used RobotMorning to update demand daily. They basically scraped our large SAP-based customer’s demand schedule on the portal, and then updated the Epicor SO’s, lines, and releases to match. Worked fantastic, and didn’t require EDI.
Small company, and a great group of folks to work with.

Not with Ariba, but I did write an XML translator to demand management so our partner could ftp us their files and avoid EDI.
