Yes, does look a brain teaser… handling both manual & automatic numbers… for multiple companies.
My only thought, rather than hard coding numbers
I prefer storing my “last used” number(s) in either UD Codes or UD Fields.
Quicker to look up ( I think ) and you can also give a user(s) the option to “DIY” fix a sequence that gets out of whack.
