I have a nightly script that runs on a web server that pulls a list of Invoiced Shipments through the BAQSVC, and performs some data extraction.
Prior to our upgrade from OnPrem 10.2 to OnPrem Kinetic 2023.2.13, I had a timeout that killed this script after 480 seconds, which was more than enough time to process Shipments on our busiest day of the year (could reach to over 300 shipments)
Since upgrading, 480 seconds is enough time to allow 68-70 shipments to be processed. The entire system has felt really sluggish since the upgrade, even though our hardware analysis prior to upgrade passed the prescribed thresholds.
Where would you start looking under the hood at why things might be so slow? We hired a third party to manage our upgrade, and some things were missed (like Database Compatibility Level), so I wonder if anyone has any thoughts on the matter.
It would appear compression was turned on by default with our version. I verified the config files match what was prescribed in the article. Thank you for that information.
