Application Layer marked all companies but saving to a specific company

Good Day.

I came a cross an interesting issue for a cloud saas customer. I have created a layer on containershipmententry and even when saving that layer specifically to ALL companies, its saving the layer to a specific company.

I have tried, deleting the layer, then adding it again as all. Issue I face is when i move this to a new environment it keeps importing against the single company and not all companies. I have tried manually exporting and on importing the metaUI marking this for all companies.

Any help?

Did you set all companies when you imported the layer? The default is to import to your current company.

Good Day.

Yes all companies was set. But since the layer existed previously it failed on the upload since layer was linked to the company specific.

Like mentioned when building the layer even if i set to save layer as all companies, it saves as a company specific layer.

Delete all layers with that name first before trying to import the layer for all companies

Appreciated, this was my last resort which i did pre test prior to posting this. wanted to make sure theres nothing else i am missing. Thanks for the help

Did the delete all layers like @mbayley suggest do the trick?
