The only thing that I can think of that is different than anything else that I have done is that I built this on top of UD01 when I first started using Kinetic.
That is how I was taught to do customizations in Classic. Maybe there is something weird going on in UD01.
I wrote a new dashboard and it instantly loaded data. I really do not want to have to re-do the function calls but its a mission critical screen that was working and has not been changed since it was completed.
I even reloaded an exported layer that was working and it does not load the data so I can 99.99% say it wasn’t something I did - I haven’t worked on this in months and the exported layer was working and being used in production.
Update: I rebuilt from scratch and it instantly worked.
When I deployed to live again it loaded NO data. Running into something similar awhile ago and my memory kicking inI republished the layer and it mysteriously started to work when I previewed it. Something must be goofy when you import a dashboard.
Sadly this did not work with the original so its getting retired.
This is a basic dashboard with a grid and some read only textboxes showing data from the selected row and a button that calls a kinetic function.
It would be really nice to be able to copy widgets/controls from one application to another. Still not seeing a benefit to the customer here. We are a plant so the majority of our users have to be physically here so accessing it via the web is not a must have and all of the work we have put into migrating has been very expensive.
