Application Studio Make Text Boxes Bigger

I need a text box to fill a grid card, but it currently only stretches to half of its length and I can’t seem to get it to go across.

Does anyone know what I can do to get it to go?

You can set the width property.

Despite my expectations, it does scale down dynamically.

I used the “Text Area” widget instead, it seems to stretch all the way without the need to set the width.

That works too unless, for whatever reason, you do not want the users to enter multi-line text.

Tried that width field on a text box, 50, 100, 1000 - no change in preview mode. I did close the preview window after each try.

Dunno what to tell ya. Still works for me in 2025.1.

You could try playing with this within the column control’s properties (not the textbox). I’ve never had the need to use it, so I’m not sure what it’ll do.
