Applied 708 patch to Version 8.0 and now can't log in

Check clientdrive:\ClientFolder\client\config\default.mfgsys.

For example, mine had the following incorrect line: <AppServerURL value="AppServerDC://\\YourV8Server:3091" />

should've been: <AppServerURL value="AppServerDC://YourV8Server:3091" />

Or check it against the server's version or its backup:

serverdrive:\MfgSys80\client\config\default.mfgsys

serverdrive:\MfgSys80\client\config\backup\default.mfgsys

Epicor uses a search and replace macro to edit these files and I've seen several bad replacements. It can even depend on the patch order, if you skip a patch for example. Also, while some parameters in the client's file can be different, others must match the server's version or it won't let you in..

the correct quantity, the "Selling Shipped Quantity" does not update.

Then, when I close the sales order, I get negative bookings resulting

DID ship the full quantity.
