AQM Module and FMEA

Wayne,
We here use IQS the epicor AQM module.
I have not compared it to the other's you have listed, but you are
welcome to call and discuss.

Subject: [Vantage] AQM Module and FMEA

Hello Group,

We are looking into implementing FMEA at ELECPAC. We have evaluated
ReliaSoft's XFMEA and Dyadem's FMEA Pro 7. Just found out that Epicore
offers this in the AQM module. I have not seen anything on this. Can
anyone give me some insight how the Epicore module stacks up to the
others?

Your reviews should be greatly appreciated.

Wayne,
AQM is NOT a module within Vantage. It is a separate system provided by IQS Inc. It interconnects with Vantage using a run-time version of Service Connect to keep the two in sync. It needs to run on its own server under SQL or Oracle. It has a multitude of reports already baked into it but additional ones can be written in Crystal. The user interface is not as cutomizable as Vantage and you are advised that if you do customize it, the next upgrade will probably erase it. Training is not available from your nearest Epicor location but must be done in Cleveland. Other training options are available.
We bought it but have not implemented it yet. Sometime soon.
