AR Collections Notes Customization

Thank you, Gerry. I had the ".dll" at the end. When I dumped those, the correct form came up.

P.S. Remember when setting up the Process Calling Maintenance, make sure
that the Called Process Reference is Epicor.Mfg.UI.MemoEntry (without the
dll at the end) and then reference your Process ID where it says Menu ID
(got to love the random naming convention).

Subject: [Vantage] AR Collections Notes Customization

I want my accounts receivable collections person to be able to add notes
about collection efforts on an invoice. To do that, I am planning to use
memos, accessed from the Actions>Memo menu item in Invoice Tracker or Posted
Invoice Update. In addition to the basic fields in the Memo screen, I want
to add some user defined fields. I can customize the Memo form just fine.
The problem I don't understand is, how do I get the customized Memo form to
show instead of the basic Memo form, when the user selects Actions>Memo? I
assume I need to customize the Invoice Tracker and Posted Invoice Update
forms, but I don't see where to go to call the custom Memo form?

If I cannot change the form Actions>Memo picks, can I add a button to the
Invoice Tracker and Posted Invoice Update forms that calls the custom Memo
form? If so, how do I do that?

Here is what I tried, because it sounded like it would work based on the
help documentation. I set up a new Sub Process. I gave it the same security
ID as the AR Invoice Tracker. Under program type, I selected Non Menu Item.
The program is Epicor.Mfg.UI.MemoEntry.dll. I selected my customization in
the Customization box. Then, in Process Calling Maintenance, I put
Epicor.Mfg.UI.MemoEntry.dll in Called Process Reference. I put
Epicor.Mfg.UI.ARInvoiceUpdtEntry.dll in Called From. I put the menu ID that
I had set up in Sub Process Maintenance in the Menu ID box. After I save all
that and exit and enter the system, it still gives me the default Memo form
when I select Actions>Memo.
