Are form Guids supposed to change each time they are opened?

I’ve been trying to work through a problem where some hand held forms don’t appear to allow customizations to stick. What I have noticed is that the GUID of the form changes every time you open and close the form. For those a more intimate knowledge @Bart_Elia @Rich et al is this expected behavior?

When I look at the BinTracker form for example and open and close it the Form GUID does not change. I am wondering if this behavior is the cause of customizations not sticking from the time of creation, saving to closing and reopening.

Sometimes they do… And it’s really annoying

Do you know of any work around? Apart from abandoning using the HH module and using an Android app :slight_smile:

They are not supposed to change. Any that do should be reported to Support so they can be addressed.

Rich, I have done so and over the following days, I’ll be noting any additional forms, although I don’t think it is just forms, I have noticed some buttons behave in a similar manner.,
