Asset New addition posting issue - Lock status reviewing

Hi, I am working on implementing hte Asset Management module and tried to post my first asset addition. It didn’t post, the Asset is “locked” and the lock status is “reviewing”. How long does the review last? Is this an indication of something wrong?

you probably need to look in the review journal for the post status. See what log/errors it says, then you can delete it and that should free it up.

Also, if there isn’t anything in the review journal, try running conversion program 10250 to unlock the records.

If it went into the review journal, the probable cause is the GL setup.

Thank you, looking at the review journal did help. The GL transaction did not balance because I didn’t have a clearing account setup for the Asset.
