We have defined 14 different shifts via Setup > Employee > Shift, but we do not have the Shift field available to us in the People > Employee Information > Job & Pay History > Location History page, which is where I understand we should be able to select a shift for each of the employees. Should the shift field appear on that page by default, or do we need to enable certain options so that the field appears, or must the page be modified/customized so that the field appears? Any guidance that someone can provide would be greatly appreciated.
I received the following advice on this issue via another forum, and it was precisely the case that the field was hidden.
“The shift field by default lives in the Location History, You might have had it hidden somehow. You can open the Task Editor and see if the field is hidden. If it is hidden, it will be greyed out. You can click on it, select the property on the right to unhide it.”
