Attaching employee photos to V8.03.409C

I am running V8.03.409C and I have my employee photos stored in that location.
they are all .bmp files and my pictures do show up

I remember when I set it up the photos had to be in your company named folder, if they are not there they will not display. double check where the photos are stored.

I am attaching the employee photo by clicking on the "File" button in the Shop Employee screen and browsing to the folder where the photos are stored. They are in the \Epicor\mfgsysdata\EmpPhoto\companynamefolder\ . The photos are in a .bmp as a 150 x 150 pixel.

The filename will show up in the box to the right of the "File" button. But the picture does not show up on the screen. And it does not show up in the Employee Maintenance screen either.

Has anyone else run into this problem?
