Within my setup I have all bill of operations correctly defined with FinalOperation ticked and Auto Receive ticked.
JobOper.FinalOpr & JobOper.AutoReceive are the EpiBindings within Job Entry.
I process around 2,500 jobs per month and perhaps 1 or 2 from the 2,500 the auto receipt functionality does not work.
All LaborDtl records are transacted through MES Classic Client.
Has anyone else seen this or know what might be causing this?
I have seen similar recently (Kinetic MES) on single op jobs, if the users go directly to End Activity and input qty there - those end up on Material Queue so we can locate them fairly easily and sort out. If they do Report Qty first, then End Activity, it works as expected. Not sure if classic MES does things the same way, but might be worth testing that out
What do the resource group and resource settings look like for those few jobs that fail? I can’t remember the exact trigger right now but I know that the setup there, matters so if they are different from the successful jobs that would be something to look at.
I’m also not sure how you would find out after the fact but if someone is manually selecting Request Move on the End Activity screen that will send it to the Queue instead of processing it automatically. I believe we either disabled or hid that button so they could not accidentally click it.
