Auto Receive Co-Part Quantity to Inventory from MES – MFG Job (Concurrent mode)

Hello Everyone,

We are using Epicor MFG Job(Concurrent Mode) and have a question related to co-parts.

When we enter the co-part quantity in MES at the last operation, is there any way for that quantity to automatically move to inventory?

Our requirement is:

  • Job is in MFG Job Mode (Concurrent)
  • Co-part quantity is entered in MES at the final operation
  • The quantity should automatically post to stock
  • We do not want to perform Job Receipt to Inventory manually

Is there any Epicor standard functionality, MES configuration, or setup (such as last operation settings or fixed bin assignment) that can achieve this?

Any guidance would be appreciated.

We are in Ep10 - we check Auto Receive on the final Operation to move quantity to Inventory.

Just to clarify, the example you shared is for a simple job, and I have already tried that successfully.
However, my actual question is specifically related to co-parts.

So my follow-up questions are:

  • Is Auto Receive on the final operation also supported for co-parts?
  • If yes, where do we define the Warehouse and Bin for the co-part receipt?
  • Does the co-part follow the parent part’s warehouse/bin, or is there a separate setup for co-parts?

Note : Auto Receive, for serialized parts, requires a single Demand Link of type Make To Stock.

Please advise.

I just checked some jobs, and yes autoreceive on the final op will move co-parts to stock. In the case I checked, warehouse and bin were the same for both co-parts.

The co-part will get dropped into the same bin that is against the resource on the operation that is set to auto rcv. If you have the licence you can check this by just creating a job with anypart and add a copart to that job. In Time Entry when you report the operation you should see in the copart tab the other parts listed. Scrap and rework gets a bit weird as, from memory, it doesn’t allow you to do this as the system doesn’t know what part was actually scrapped.

We have a small number of copart jobs that do this We setup parts that only have one operation in as the separate parts go off for different operation post cast/mold.
