Automatically e-mail a report

I use a system called Jeffnet - Works a treat, especially if you have parameters and external data.

Hi Group-

I think that this might have been asked once before, but has anyone discovered a way to automatically schedule the system to generate a report (custom or standard), convert it to a pdf and then send it out as an e-mail attachment?

We are Progress 32 bit Epicor 9.05.604 for the next few weeks, then upgrading to 701, 64 bit (still Progress).

Thanks for your help.
I use SaberLogic Logicity to create the PDF and Blat to mail it out.

Scheduled print job within Epicor.
Prints to APM.
APM routes it from there.

Another method might be auto scheduled SSRS report. It appears you can email reports straight from the SSRS print setup.

I use SSRS reports and have them run on a schedule. The system is sending out about 20 emails each morning to different supervisors. They are not PDFs though.

Have you tried Visual Cut 11? It’s a free to try out product. It will load, export (to just about any format), and email any Crystal Report. You can even automate parameters and other things prior to running it. Cool product…
