Automating WIP/Reconciliation output to network location?

Hello all! Currently, our team is using the Inventory/Wip Reconciliation report. This report can take some time, resulting in the user who runs it needing to wait until the report renders. They use the output format of Excel:Data only.

What we would like to do is schedule the running of this report in the task agent, and have the resulting file saved to a network location. I can save the report run to a process set and schedule it, but can’t figure out how to get the output to a network location. I am trying to set up an SSRS Break/Route rule on our report style to accomplish this but am not having much luck.

Also, I am not sure if this is normal, but I cannot check the “Routing” checkbox next to the output format for some reason.

Any tips/tricks on this would be greatly appreciated!

Have a look at this thread and Help on the Report Styles Option field. My response in the thread uses a file type of PDF, but Excel Data Only should work as long as that is an SSRS type report.

Thanks Rich! I’ll take a look at the Report Options field in the SSRS report.
