We are in process of implementing Kinetic, 2023.10.
We can’t seem to make sense of Lead Time Calculation.
We have a simple sheet metal manufactured part with 10 pounds of steel as a material, has a lead time of 7 days.
The calculation returns zero for cumulative time under Calculating Planning Values for the manufactured part.
Am I missing something? Is this Lead Time Calculation even used by real users?

Do you have a Supplier Price List entry for that part? Where is the 7 day lead time entered?

on the planning section of the PART screen.
I also put it on a price list for the supplier because I don’t know which one takes precedence.

I believe the hierarchy is Supplier Price List, Part Class, Part.
Do you have a method in the system for the manufactured part?

Hey John,
I think I found the problem. The steel didn’t have constrained box checked!
Thanks for your suggestions!
