Azure Outage 10/29/25

YIKES…I just tried to launch the client and get

Good thing I still have the browser open…

You might be able to add “-skip” switch to the command line and it will run. I’m guessing it’s looking to see if there is an upgrade available.

That does work…good idea.

EDIT - and finally got an error back on the first couple of tries…guess our datacenter is CENTRALUSDT! Double bonus!!!

-skip worked to get past the update check, but then our SSO Azure login hangs :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

Not gonna recommend BASIC auth to you…

Coincidently I tried -skip just as it came back.

I was going to go from desk to desk helping people and a coworker tried before I got there and got back in. It looks to be up now.

Microsoft just implemented a fix saying it can take up to 30 minutes to implement.

Was just pasting that same screenshot. lol

Epicor support said they are receiving multiple reports of printing issues in QS. Wonder what QS on-prem needs from the cloud to run Crystal Reports.

Surprised I haven’t heard anything yet, you think any UPS or Fedex APIs are down?

I used the ‘- skip’ command and to my surprise it logged on to the Epicor 10 UI.
I hadn’t seen this layout in YEARS lol

Surprisingly it doesn’t seem to be impacting either at the moment.

Desktop clients aren’t connecting but the browser client works fine? Today’s just a little preview to reluctant users of what next spring will feel like if they don’t spend a little time now getting familiar with the browser client!

I think I’m up to about 800 tabs in Chrome trying to monitor this situation.

Microsoft’s fix looks to have failed. This looks to be a long ride.

Interesting, we are getting something different.

We are fully Cloud SaaS, Enterprise.
Desktop clients cannot connect.
Web clients cannot connect.
REST APIs do not respond.

ESP is back online

They were probably being a little too truthful in their initial update, so they changed it to make the situation sound better. Regardless, it’s a “hurry up and wait” status.
