Backflush problem

Wayne:
Was the part you were "backflushing" stock or non stock?
Looking for some advice on backflushing components. We just started
utilizing backflush recently. Worked OK on a couple of test jobs in Oct.

This month, we had one setup with operation 20 as the "final op" as well as
the related op for the materials. Labor entry correctly generated
backflush issues the first couple days. Then we changed the related and
final op to 30 (still a couple ops away from the end.) After that change,
we don't get any backflush issues with labor entry. Any ideas?

-Thanks,
Wayne Cox
Did you change it on the part master and job level?

Yes.

Oops... also should mention, this is Vantage 4.00.904.

-Thanks,
Wayne
Wayne,
We don't use backflushing, but when we were looking into it, we created this "How to..." document for Making a One step router and doing backflushing for all the materials. Maybe something here will jog your memory to find a missed step or something. (Vantage 5.0).
