Use a BPM pre process. How are you going to know if it was printed or not?

We are looking at implementing a BAM that would stop or alert a user that tries to make changes to a Packing Slip after it has already been printed.  I have started a BAM, but it looks like my only options are an e-mail alert or specify a program.
