BAQ Crystal Reports

I understand.

So you're aware this has apparently been fixed in 9.05.702, and Epicor ported the fix back to 9.05.700C for me which I tried earlier this week but it just brought back the XML error (although I'll test this again over the weekend).

Has anyone seen the below error message before? We are suddenly getting this message for every BAQ Crystal Report that we have created. I have verified that all the reports are intact and that all the directories mentioned below do exist. We have also stopped and started our task and process appservers which resolved this issue once before.

We have been using these reports for years and now we are suddenly unable to use them. Support has been looking at this issue for a couple days now and have not come back with a solution yet.

Any ideas??

Did you upgrade Crystal Reports or Epicor recently?
I had an issue like this where Crystal Reports was set to save data with the reports. Once I unchecked that in the report options the reports worked again.

Thank you for the help everyone. Turns out the issue was caused by a change to the pf file that was made the night before. We added a line to enable the Euro currency symbol to display within Epicor and apparently it doesn't play well with BAQs in general. Hi Lauren,

Did you ever manage to get the Euro currency symbol to work correctly for you ?.

Code page options in the .pf file are screwing us up since going from Vantage 8 to Epicor 9 (MS SQL) a couple of weeks ago. The Euro symbol is now well and truly broken for us.

Also this 'line' that is suggested in Epicor documentation is totally wrong (they have admitted this to me).

Thanks.

No we haven't... the only "solution" that Epicor came back with was to spend a minimum of $6,000 to have our DB converted to SQL Unicode.. Not gonna happen at this point.. expensive fix for the Euro symbol to be correct in the software.
