BAQ Formula date

Date01 needs nonNull (valid date) values in the queried records are it will fail.

Other than that, no problems using this technique from 305g thru 405a.

Haven't had to rewrite any but I'm sure that day will eventually come - probably when we bounce to the long awaited (for us as it is supposed to resolve a critical SCR) - 408. {;o

I was actually just looking at this same thing today on Vantage 8.03.403 and
found that the date feature in our BAQ didn't work. It always returned no
results. I was using Orderdtl.Date01 <= Today-0.

You only want to look at ShipHead records with ShipDate one or MORE years
old?

That should work (if they exist)... Make sure you are not filtering out
Closed corresponding orders.

In my baq, I will need to add this formula for the shiphead.shipdate <=
today() - 365. My formula is today - 365 days. But If I entered this
exacthly formula, doesn't works. What the good formula for entered in the
BAQ ?

Thanks

If you want to create a date 365 days ago then enter into the CALC field :
Â
Expression :Â today - 365
Data Type : Date
The data type has to be a date field and the ouptut would be a date 365 days ago.
Â
if you want to compare the dates and get a True false result then enter into the calc field
Â
Expression :Â if shiphead.shipdate <= (today - 365) then true else false
Data Type: Logical

When I have done math in a BAQ it seems to require a space between variables
and their operators (e.g. today-0 versus today - 0).

It errors out, or doesn't produce data, with no space.
