BAQ report designer- How i can update existing crystal report by newly added fields in BAQ

Hi,
I have added some extra fields in BAQ, need some help for updating existing crystal report by newly added fields in BAQ.
What is next ???

It has been a while since I’ve done that, but I don’t think there is anything necessary to be done in the BAQ Report Designer. Once the BAQ is updated just run the report (generate only) then open the report in Crystal Reports Designer and the new fields should be available in the field explorer.

Like Monty stated, generally you just need to run the report after adding the new field and you can use it when you load that datasource in Crystal to make changes. Every once in awhile though when I’m adding an entirely new table I need to go to Database > Database Expert, select the new datasource on the left group, and then use the right arrow to push it over to the “selected tables” section. Give that a try and see if it works for you if Monty’s suggestion doesn’t work first!

I tried doing the generate only on the report with no luck. I simply added a field from a table already in the BAQ. The report still works but when I open it in Crystal Reports the new field is not there.
