Yeah at least with dashboards I find you have to do this:
1. Get the dashboard working exactly as you want it in Company A.
2. Remember the exact name you gave it in Company A.
3. Export the Dashboard with BAQs.
4. Go to Company B. Import Dashboard and BAQs. If you have
system BAQs, skip them since you can't overwrite them. The dashboard in
Company B will have BAQs with the Company B prefix.
5. Make sure you give the Dashboard the *exact same* name as you
did in Company A. Also make sure the description matches so you're not
confused.
6. Go to menu maintenance and link the dashboard where you want
it.
7. Now refresh your session. The dashboard should run as expected
in both companies.
If you find yourself reimporting because something got screwed up, be
sure to delete your custom BAQs before reimporting, as at least in .405
it won't let you overwrite the BAQ on import.

Brian:
By the way, thanks for that extra information about the Dashboards.
I was wondering why a dashboard I created last week didn't show up
when I changed companies.
