Yes, there is in a way. You can link/filter with a substring.
If you bring up Progress help you can find details, but I believe it will
look something like...
substring(JobHead.JobNum,3,2) = "80m".
This should give you everything that is x80mxxx.
Please do the research in progress help (Start,progress 91d...,Help) for the
syntax of substring, and make the edits in the actual BAQ definition, don't
try to do it in the wizard.

about exceeding the limit.
