We use Zebra ZD620 Thermal Printers for smaller labels, and Lexmark M3150 printers for
8.5 x 11.
They are not, we do not have color labels, but we do print mono labels to some color
printers in offices I believe.

Thanks for the info.
I can’t quantify this Kevin cause I never did have a file integration, but I would be VERY interested to hear if you have that much better results with the API integration vs file integration. Like number of incidents, how many times is it failing now vs when you use the web integration.
Well, it will have to be anecdotal. I have not yet finished my logging setup, so I really
have no existing data to reference, and I probably won’t have any new data for a bit.
But I’ll let you know the anecdotal version.
Yet another reason to use an API vs direct calling. You get logging for free.
We are in the cloud and are using the Azure file share, it took some work but it is working well now
Care to explain? I haven’t heard of that option.
Pretty sure you can map an Azure file share the same as any file share locally… at least that’s what I remember from my coursera classes 2 years ago… So that’s probably how it’s working.
Yes… Epicor offers this as the preferred option vs. FTP. Azure mapped drive into the same folder the FTP was sharing.
I don’t believe that was ever offered to us
Well, they didn’t come out and ask us… one day our FTP integration stopped working and I opened a case to get it fixed. Then they replied to me “oh by the way there’s this new integration method, we don’t use ftp anymore!”
So, like a lot of things with Epicor, it hit me in the face rudely when everything else was going smoothly
We only knew about it because we just recently went live, we were told its the new way to integrate and the preferred way now. We were one of the first ones to get it working… Russell Dennis at Epicor is a really good resource and seems to understand how to set it up on the bartender server at least…
Sorry I was MIA but we went live at the end of march, then 2 weeks later I had 3 weeks of vacation planned
And I was told by Manny at Bartender that using web integration via bartender is the new way to do it… But I assume Epicor hasn’t felt that it’s worth switching to web so we are left with files.
