Can I block the serial number from a part number? This to cannot shipped a part and prevent that a shipment contain a piece with a SN that is blocked?
The best bet is a BPM at one of the key points.
You will need a UD field on the SerialNo table. The one of these:
-Data Directive on SNTran (possibly)
-Method Directive on the available SN in Serial Selection
-Method Directive on CustShip.Update
There are possibly more, but that should help get you started.
