BOL to Packing Slip Joins

Keith,

In Crystal link the files as you said then go to Database then Show SQL
Query. Find the link between ShipHead.ShipLog = BOLHead.BOLNum and change
it to ShipHead.ShipLog = string(BOLHead.BOLNum).

I realize this has been discussed but I was wondering if anyone has come up
with a solution on how to create a join in RB or Crystal to link the BOL
header to the Packing Slip header. Due to the wisdom of some unknown being
the fields of BOL number and Log Number (which are part of the link) are
different formats numeric and character respectively. Any insight, cheats or
tricks would be appreciated.
