BPM Error

Hi there,

I created a BPM based on the following conversation:

Customer Type Default

While you can override the Customer Type with a BPM, just know that the Customer Type updates automatically depending on what activity has transpired: No Activity (new Customer): Suspect Quoted Quote: Prospect Sales Order: Customer

Essentially I wanted the customer type to default to “Customer” and terms to default to “Net 30 Days”.

However, I’m getting an error now when creating a new customer:

Funny enough, if I manually reselect “Customer” and “Net 30 Days”, the error goes away.

Does anyone know why this might be happening?

“Customer” is probably the description/Name for that type record. You’ll need to use that code for that type. Probably is “CUS”.

As for the Terms, you need to specofy the terms code, not the description

Use the value from this column for the term you want:

As @ckrusen mentioned, its customer type codes CUS, SUS and PRO and terms code
