I feel like there is some info missing.  Was there more for Action?  Is there a condition?

The RowMod is an external column that represents the state of the row.

So in basic terms you have “A” = Added, “D” = Deleted, “U” = Updated and “” = Unmodified.

You don’t however need the first two clauses like you have below that is being done by the system when you use that condition.

My predecessor created a BPM in Job Entry which when I read it makes absolutely no sense to me.  I thought I would share it with all of you and see if it makes sense to anyone.

(the JobHead.RowMod field of the changed row is equal to the "A" expression

or the JobHead.RowMod field of the changed row is equal to the "U" expression)

and the JobHead.JobReleased field of the changed row is equal to the True expression

All I want to know is what the “A” and “U” mean.  Can anyone shed any light on this for me?

TIA, Manasa
