BPM to Clear Data

Hi Everyone,

I am attempting to write a BPM that will clear the Ship To information from the PO Header table based on the Class ID on the PO Detail table.

I have created a pre and post method directive on PO Update that effectively changes the ship to information on the PO Header to say “Blank” when the part has a certain part class (I used BO methods and data fields to achieve this). However, the BPM does not work when I am trying to clear the ship to address/name completely instead of replacing it with “Blank”.

Has anyone used a BPM to clear data from a field instead of enter data into it? Will this require custom code or can I achieve it using out of the box wizard items?
