I believe in 8 that it's all run by progress procedures in the background. In 9 they did a lot of work revamping MRP, and you can intercept some things, but I think that grabbing hold of jobs as they are created on the fly by MRP is still a bit outside something that would be considered less than heroic.. You could write a BPM or a .p program and loop through the newly created jobs after MRP was completed..

Subject: [Vantage] BPM when MRP creates jobs
I am looking for the method that is called when MRP creates jobs.
I have a pre-process directive on the JobEntry.Update, changing the JobOper.ProdStandard field. This works great when I manually create jobs, but does not work when MRP creates jobs.
I've looked everywhere and can't seem to find the method. Does anyone know where it is?
Anyone have any other ideas that may work?
Thanks,
Scott
