you don't use BPM for this.
You set epicor in developer mode from the main interface then open the form you want to customize it will ask you to chose a layer - choose the base.
The form will open and the go to menu tools/customization and it will allow you to modify your form and add fields.
When finish you have to give it a name.
Then you have to edit menu maintenance for this menu to call the customized form.

I must be doing something wrong. Let me tell you what steps I am taking. I click on BPM's off the Systems Management tab. Select Action Process under General Operations. I cant see how to load the form to add the field. I click on developer mode and nothing happens.. any ideas
