That sounds like a sensible alternative, but we already use that
comments field for work instruction number identification.
The masterplan I had was to get crystal to parse the user defined
field for R1,R2,R3 etc and repeat these records out onto the job
traveller. We then have a job traveller which has a separate line per
circuit ref, but in terms of availability reports, all the part
numbers are actually grouped together in the bom.
Does this make sense to you?
