Budgeting and Forecasting, more for finance than sales, suggestions for a budgeting and forecasting tool? CFO isn’t thrilled with Epicor Financial Planner - keep going back and forth with Adaptive Planning as viable solution? Is anyone using any other budget/forecasting tool that integrates with Epicor?

Good morning, thank you for reaching out; in a nutshell, not user friendly and doesn’t provide the business the tools to create an accurate forecast/ budget; the feeling is that it would require multiple customizations to make it work for the business, hence looking into Adaptive.
Ahh, Enerpact Software, Adaptive. At least steer him to Microsoft Dynamics. Adaptive is cheaper than most ERP systems and looks attractive on the GUI end, but the hell you will endure will be relentless when it comes to manufacturing and their sub systems. But I do get it, it all comes down to bottom line.
Forecasting and reporting are all part of the Advanced Financial Management. It’s really not “Customization”, but it does require a little elbow grease to learn. My Finance Controller learned it in three days, and she’s not a computer guru or can program anything.
