I’ve used a number of ERP/MRP system throughout my career and this is the 2nd Epicor product I’ve worked with. For the first time I’m working with a system that only allows a single burden rate (vs at least one for Variable and one for Fixed) which means I cannot generate a product’s contribution margin. Does anybody have a work around? System wise the only thing I can think of is setting each Operations twice, one with a Fixed Burden rate and the other with a Variable Burden rate (ie INJECT-F & INJECT-V) which would be a massive pain. The only other option would be to setup an allocation in Excel to break out each Operations Fixed/Variable dollars which is what I am leaning towards.
