Business Activity Queries

Mark,
I have looked at the second part of your question before. The basic BAQ
procedure allows you to create a query and then "publish" the result. Then,
you can build a second query into your custom BAQ, and "subscribe" to the
result set from the first. This is a good way to generate the filtered
record set from the first query, and to get your final results from the
second.
I wanted to have a BAQ with multiple seemingly unrelated queries show up in
a single grid for copying/pasting. While tech told me that it could not be
done, an Epicor Employee assured me that it can be done if you manually
include the subquery code into the main query in the BAQ, so this is what I
am currently working on. But the publish/subscribe functionality is basic
and works very well.
At that point, you only need to consider whether when and how you refresh
data.

I have 2 questions about the business Activity Queries in Vantage 8

1: Is there a way to manually edit these without using the wizard
every time?

2: Is there a way to run a sub query of another query?

BTW I am new to this group. I have seen many talented people here
already from the answers recieved.

My company has just made the switch from 6 to 8 and we have been
through some of the pains. Hopefully I can help someone down the road
the way you have already helped us.

Thanks,
