Curious if anyone has tried to tie their Engineering BOM to the materials lists in Epicor? We’re using Solidworks and the BOM can be Excel-based and formatted to whatever it needs to be… I’ve seen CAD link software before, not sure we need to get that thorough, just curious if anyone has messed with it?
The poor-man’s Cad-Link is hidden under the Get Details command under the Revision Action:
Here you can pass a comma-delimited file:
PartNum, Description, Type, Quantity
It’s no fuss, no extras. Type = M for make, P for Purchase, etc.
Your other option is to use DMT to be able to import more fields.

Thank you that’s pretty cool
Do you happen to know what the table list looks like for the Job Entry materials vs the Engineering Workbench materials? Seems to be different…
If you search the help using these terms:
engineering details get from import
They lay out the format that you need to have the file in.
