Kay,
While I don't understand why we do it, nor why anyone else would. Paper records drive me bonkers! (I would rather recommend using APM to capture a digital copy of the Check automatically everytime it is printed.) We have not gone live yet, but we will be doing this and it may require you to adjust the Report Data Definition (RDD) for 'APCheck' (which if you do, you will need to make a copy of it first since it is a System RDD) and then go through the process to define the Crystal Report Data Structure. (Since I don't know what you do or don't know, I will not go into detail here.)
I have the Crystal Report File that does it, but you will need to make changes to your system for it work, but basically it is done with a SubReport, we went back and forth with our consultant to get it right, it was a bit tricky. For instance, with two stubs you will not have 3/2/3 of a page to print the detail, so you will have to define the number of stub lines for each Bank. What version are you on?
I've written a lot here, let me know what you think, if you'd like I can send you a copy of our Cystal Report for this, but it is NOT a turnkey deal, there is a lot of adjustments that need to be made to your install for this to work.
