Don't think it'll let you do that. At least I've never been able to. What
Method is it? If its an easy one, you could try replacing the Base Method.

I have a pre-processing directive and within 4GL code I would like to stop the method if a condition is met. I have tried this but does not seem to work?

If ttCallContextBpmData.ButtonValue = 1111 THEN DO:
{&THROW_PUBLIC}.
END.

TIA,

-Ted
Try this, on PreProce

{lib\PublishEx.i &exMsg = "'Sales Person Split On the Quote Must Equal
100%, Currently at ' + msg + '%. Please correct this before
continuing!'"}

{&THROW_PUBLIC}.

I am trying not to show a message, just cancel the method depending on the response from the BPM Data Form since the form has the information already on it.
