Cannot enable custom field

I went ahead and added a check box and combo box to the Demand Header Screen. I had no problems doing this and they seem to work. I also just added this change to the Manager not everyone.

Let me test some more and see if maybe something is not working properly.

Yes, I am in developer mode. I have security manager security (In
TEST), with customization ability (I have setup other fields). I am
working in the Demand Header screen which seems to have all fields
disabled...I want to update the field by unchecking if possible. We are
on 8.03.407a.

Are you doing this in Developer mode on an App? If so what are the
security settings? What user are you doing this for or are you creating
a general use change?
