Started getting having issues this morning not being able to save in Kinetic forms. See this on the server. I put a ticket in to Epicor. Not sure what could be causing this.

The issue appears linked to a conflicting file created in the WebDeployment directory.

Create a unique sub-directory in the EpicorData directory.

Update the System Agent to use this new directory. Chances are you are conflicting with another Environment and sharing EpicorData folders?

That worked. I did install 2022 in a test environment 2 weeks ago. Odd that it would just surface this morning.

I’m having the same issue. I’m not sure I’m clear on what I need to do – I tried creating a sub-directory and updating the system agent…but clearly I’m not doing something correctly because it’s not solving the issue. I’m still new to handling these things and so I probably need the “Fixing Epicor Problems for Dummies” version…

I had to restart the app server after changing for my live environment.

Ah… ok. I left my live environment as it was and redirected the test environment. I’ll restart the server tonight and hopefully that will do it. I wondered if that might be the thing that was missing.

Thank you!

If the suggested resolution did not work, you can try deleting the erp-website file from the C:\EpicorData\YOUR_PROBLEMATIC_ENVIRONMENT\WebDeployment\widget directory. This file will be recreated after you log in to your environment.
