Cannot Schedule Inventory/WIP Reconciliation Report in Kinetic

I’m seeing this is both 2024.1 and 2025.1. If I schedule the Inv/Wip Rec report for the future and choose “Generate Only”, the report does not show up as a Task in the System Agent. If I do the same with the Classic version, it does schedule it. Looking in the Developer Tools in the browser, I never see a SubmitToAgent call.

Parity issue? Can others check this if they have a moment? I have a ticket opened but looking for some corroboration.

Same thing. I can recreate in 24.1/2 and 25.1

I see the same thing on 2025.1 using the Kinetic screen in the client as well. Submitting the same settings through Classic, I get the scheduled task.

You might also need to look for “TransformAndSubmit”.

I only see a call to ValidateDateRange

All I see in the trace is the ValidateDateRange Erp rest call and then it’s done.

The “Report Submitted” toast also never pops up when you submit the Inv/WIP report. I assume that’s part of the same event as SubmitToAgent, or pops up when the SubmitToAgent method returns. This is from the Stock Status report:

Update from Epicor:

This will be fixed in 2025.1.11 but not backported to our currently supported version of 2024.1.

That’s annoying. Not fixing it in the supported versions.

We’ll be upgrading later this year, so not a biggie for us.

We are too but why call it a supported version if they aren’t going to fix major issues.
