Can't run Management Console / start/stop appservers, etc

Wow, didn't think it would be that easy. That was it. I started the
services, waited 30 seconds. It wasn't there. Went to something else for
10 minutes, came back - there it is.



Whoever said Epicor Tech Support isn't open on the weekends.

It takes time for the OpenEdge Admin Service to open that port. Wait a
couple minutes and try again.

I am doing an upgrade to 9.05.602a, and as part of that process, installing SP3 to OpenEdge 10.2a. The SP3 upgrade is fairly simple: stop appservers, stop services, install (click through the error messages everyone gets), and you're done. The problem now is I can't get back into the management console to restart app servers.

When I try to do that, it just says it can't contact the webpage (trying to connect to http://localhost:9090/).

Any ideas?

Hi Kevin,

Normally on OpenEdge updates, you also must stop/start the Open Edge Admin
Service. If you didn't stop it then you may want to reapply SP3 and then try
again.
