Case Tasks assignment

Hi
I have created a number of different Task Sets which are applied to different Roles.

When i add the task to the case, what i find is that the task is assigned to the role that the first milestone is assigned to. Not what the Task setup is assigned to…

Example: Task set “Assess Goods” which is setup to be assigned to a QC14 Prod Team:

But when you add teh New Task to a case:

I can see the Assigned To is defaulted , it doesnt make sense why it doesnt pull the Tasks Assigned role

Any advice appreciated - i realise I can change the assigned to- but its another step id sooner not have to enforce

A similar issue was coming to us in Quote Entry. Please verify the below mentioned steps

  1. Navigate to Customer Management > Setup > Sales Territory
  2. Go to Salesperson Tab
  3. Add users whose Role Codes are defined in Task Set.

Forex. In your case could you please check a user with role code QC14 Prod Team is available in the Sales Person list. If it doesn’t exist pls add a user whose role code is QC14 Prod Team. Create a new case and check.
